About the Counsellor:

Maja Miljkovic (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a background of providing mental health and emotional support services through child protection work, social work, and referrals to family support services. Recognized for her ability to tailor her communication style to help clients feel empowered, cared for, and hopeful, Maja knows that the right support at the right time can change a person’s entire life trajectory for the better.

Philosophy:

Maja Miljkovic believes that everyone deserves to live a purposeful, and empowered life. Alongside helping clients reach their primary counseling goals, such as feeling less anxious, resolving relational conflict, or healing from a painful event, she also prioritizes empowering clients, fostering resilience, and connecting them to their visions for how they want their life to be. Maja uses a client-centered and tailored approach to meet the unique needs of each client, and most importantly, she ensures each client feels accepted and safe in their therapeutic journey. Maja is an ally to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
