Amanda Langelaan (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health. Known for being empathetic, genuine, and passionate about helping others, Amanda is dedicated to fostering a supportive and healing space for individuals, couples, and families.

Amanda believes in being client-centered, collaborative, trauma-informed, and inclusive with every client. She is committed to empowering clients to improve their lives and build their resilience using the strengths they already possess.

Known for her empathy and client-centered approach, Amanda focuses on providing a safe space that validates her clients’ feelings before working on setting goals with clients based on what they want to work on. Amanda prefers to develop her approach to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.

In her practice, Amanda focuses on child/youth, family, and parenting issues, couples/relationships, anxiety, and neurodivergence. She is particularly adept at supporting emotion regulation, behaviour challenges, and building better relationships between families and couples. She works towards empowering clients by helping them develop a better understanding of themselves, enhancing their strengths, and providing additional tools that they can continue to use once therapy has ended.
