About the Counsellor:
Maureen Codispodi (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with 25 years of experience in the field of mental health, education, and counselling. She is recognized for her talent in establishing calm, welcoming, and safe spaces for all. Maureen is dedicated to building relationships with her clients to ensure that their needs are met. She believes that every client has the ability to heal and grow.

Maureen is committed to supporting and empowering her clients so that they feel safe to explore what they need to move forward toward their own goals at their own pace. She tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
Therapeutic Approach:
Maureen utilizes a client-centred and integrative approach and she believes that it is her role in counselling to meet the client where they are. She works towards empowering clients to heal and re-integrate their learning and growth outside of the therapeutic relationship, so that they will be able to live healthier lives once counselling has completed.

In her practice, Maureen focuses on immigration and acculturation issues, families and individuals with neurodiversity (ADHD/ASD), and learning and behavioural needs. As well, she supports educators as they navigate the complexities and challenges associated with working in schools/colleges and universities. Maureen works with clients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
